Maximum dose: 26 mg four times daily.
Acute relief of angina:
Take 0.5 mg under the tongue at the first sign of chest pain. Repeat every 5 minutes, up to 3 doses if pain persists.
Seek emergency help if chest pain is not relieved after 3 doses in 15 minutes.
Prophylaxis (prevention):
Take 1 sublingual tablet 5–10 minutes before engaging in activities likely to trigger angina.
